Today was an unbelievable day. I had an awesome time hiking and I took a lot of really cool pictures. The weather was amazing and it was a terrific way to start my thru-hike. It is supposed to get really cold tonight (20 degrees).

I feel like all my fears regarding the AT subside with every step I take. I had my doubts as to how good I would do and if I would be happy, but just let me tell you, I am really excited.
