A lot of people were really supportive and I can’t count the number of people who said they would do anything I need. One interesting aspect is how people convey their support. Everyone wanted to know that they believe that I can hike the entire trail, but many don’t really believe and a lot want for me to know that if I don’t make it all the way, they will still love me. Yet, some of my brothers tell me that if I don’t make it at least 1,000 miles I’ll get a foot in my scrawny butt.
